Kanye West’s Louis Vuitton High Top Sneaker Preview

Once again Kanye West teases us with what looks to be his third design of six from his highly anticipated sneaker line with Louis Vuitton. We have given you a glimpse of his first sneaker preview back in early January, and just yesterday unveiled an official picture of his second design. Now we take a look at his newest high top design that’s sure to make more of a buzz, with notable features like the two large Velcro straps and the pink midsole. As stated on his blog, once he gets back from the club he will post more clear pics of these sneakers, so stay tuned and let’s all hope Kanye gets back from the club early (and not too drunk that he forgets) to post more pictures.

Vans West vs. East (and Europe) Fourty-Four Hi Pack

Created under the pretense of an innovative cupsole sneaker with a toned down profile, the Vans Fourty-Four Hi sees itself in the middle of a multi-party collaboration to kick things off for spring 2009. Bringing on-board West Coast representatives Crooks & Castles (and mystery shop), East Coast crew 5Boro of New York (and mystery shop) City and Danny Wainwright of the UK, a total of five models can be seen in a West vs. East vs. Europe affair. Availability will be exclusive to each coasts while the arguably hottest joint via Danny Wainwright will be available to all starting this month.

Diamond Supply Co. x DVS Dayton “VVS” Pack

No strangers to each other, Diamond Supply Co. and DVS are at it again on this upcoming Dayton pack. The upcoming VVS pack features a thorough development whihc goes beyond just the Dayton, varsity jacket, New Era and t-shirt. Aside from the sneakers, the whole pack is quite subtle and well-designed. The pack is dropping this Saturday, February 7th.

The most successful fashion designer headed sportswear collaboration Y-3 from adidas releases a new version of their Honja High. Seen in a black patent colorway, the shoe’s chunky demeanor brings on board design elements such as perforated toeboxes and panels as well as a small logo on heel. Art Force One “Gloire à Satan” Exhibition Recap

January 29th marked the opening of “Gloire à Satan” at the WeSC flagship store in Paris, an exhibition featuring the work of prolific French sneaker customizer Manuel Angot or better known as Art Force One. The show featured a much darker theme than is usually associated with Miguel’s work. A list of other featured artist included: Andrea Crews, iLK, Adeline Affre, Ndeur, Anjuna and Comer. The exhibition will remain open until February 28th, 2009.

FILA look towards Japanese clothiers Product for their next collaboration project, featuring the timeless 70’s Fitness model. Riding the “Gucci” wave, Product implements features throughout the sneakers inspired by the famous fashion house. Along with the popular Green/Red/White piping, the kicks feature smooth suede uppers complimented by luxurious black croc skin and gold accenting. Retail is set at ¥18,690 (Approx. $206 USD).


Supra Skytop Zumiez Exclusive

Supra has created a new exclusive colorway to mark February. Based on their ultra-popular Skytop, the shoe features a metallic upper with hits of purple and gray. The shoe will be only available at Zumiez.
